This Weekend

This weekend was filled with tons of laughter, spending time with friends and enjoying picnic and hiking.

Friday night was my good friend's birthday celebration and for my night look I went with dramatic false eyelashes and my favorite wedges by Dolce Vita for Target, they are extremely comfortable and versatile, and great for dancing all night!

Saturday was spent outdoors at Bear Mountain, New York, enjoying some picnic in the middle of fresh green fields surrounded by nature and woods. We also attempted at hiking our way up but it looked like a good idea at the time but I am not yet prepared to finish a whole trail so instead we walked around the serene lucid lakes and ended the night with dinner and drinks with some friends that live around that area.

Sunday was the day for much needed cleaning and cooking and running some errands on top of making myself prepare for the GRE Exam.

Favorite Things

Finally the heat wave has passed NY and it feels more like Summer that you can actually enjoy!

Planning a mini get away on my birthday in August...somewhere relaxing and that has sunsets such as this

Picnic and hiking this weekend! 

In urgent need of some fresh air and some one on one time with nature, break from the city is a must sometimes.

In the creative process, several ideas for a client's makeup wedding look, makeup session next week!

Completely obsessed with this site, I would like to purchase everything from here and so far I am planning to add this irresistible silver cube for my bedroom

Glimpse of the Weekend Outfit

It was one of those lovely Saturday afternoons, sunny weather and warm breeze inspired this ensemble.
Effortless and comfortable, loving these platforms from Zara that I purchased back in Spring and could not wait to enjoy them in Summer.
The heel is quiet chunky and high but because of the platform you barely feel it, so comfortable!

I'm back!!!

It has been too long, this blog was abandoned but I will get better. I have been so busy lately with the shop, photoshoots, traveling, redecorating the apartment , and getting ready to apply for Graduate School.
Always finding new challenges for myself, but that is what keeps life interesting and worthwhile.
New photos and "favorite things" posts coming soon, can't wait to really get this going!
