Weekend Favorites

Due to Hurricane Irene all of my plans were put on hold this weekend and no exciting outfits to share...but here are some of my favorites from last week that are currently making my stay at home more enjoyable!
I am looking forward to a busy week ahead and to posting more outfit pictures!

I hope everyone on East Coast were safe and stayed dry this weekend.
Everyone else unaffected by the storm hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Bridal Makeup

As I have mentioned before I did bridal make up last weekend and just wanted to share a few raw images from that day.
Here are some behind the scenes sneak peeks, I will be posting professional photos as soon as they will be available, so excited!

The bride looks absolutely stunning and so as her adorable mother.

Love the flower in her hair so unique!

This weekend

What a busy and productive weekend this has been.
From shooting a promotional video for my friends upcoming event that involved a lot of dancing and doing bridal makeup for the bride and her mom to spending some quality time in the city with great food and lots of Sangria!
I truly enjoyed it all.

This weekend

What a productive and fun weekend this was, filled with shopping, drinks, great food and celebrating my birthday with family and dear friends.
I also attended the production of "Zarkana" by Cirque Du Soleil that was spectacular and thrilling, the things these artists do seem truly magical.

Here are just some of the images captured in the last few days, enjoy!

Glimpse Into The Yard

Just wanted to do a brief post about my little online vintage shop www.KakaYard.com
Fashion is one of my ultimate passions and hobbies, from creating my own outfits to styling and endlessly browsing through websites that constantly inspire me...it is something that I always loved and something that will never fade away.

It has been my longtime dream to create and one day own my own online store that would be filled with vintage treasures mixed with modern pieces, totally unique and fun!
I was able to turn this dream into reality and I am very excited that less than a year old it is still growing and has a lot more to show and sell!
Here are some of my favorite images from the previous photoshoots that we had so far.

Thank you to my lovely models, photographers/videographers and everyone involved for their unconditional support and endless creativity, this store would not be possible without you!
Thank you for visiting and please come back soon!

This Weekend

This weekend was relaxing and yet productive at the same time.
I enjoyed some shopping as well as searching for a great place to celebrate my birthday that is in couple of weeks.
I also did a Wedding Makeup Consultation with a Bride who's wedding is in 2 weeks, I am very excited to be a part of it and will be posting pictures of the look we created.

I also had a chance to stop and check out Alexander Wang Sample Sale that created quit a stir and to my surprise I was actually able to pick up a great handbag for an amazing price!
This is the similar handbag I purchased only mine is the light lavender color, I was very excited!

Here are just some sneak peeks from my weekend

Love discovering...
Although I adore everything from Free People, somehow it always gets neglected when I'm shopping online.
I love their vast range of jewelry and shoes especially the boots love these for Fall

They always have such great variety of unusual and funky dresses and chunky knits that I enjoy so much.
However, this time I did not neglect and instead picked up a few amazing pieces such as this bohemian inspired necklace that was on sale! (And I believe is already sold out)

This will go great with a maxi dress or a loose buttoned up shirt for a free spirited Bohemian look!
I'm absolutely loving this asymmetrical lavender dress/top that I am planning to wear for my birthday that's coming up in a few weeks.

I think it might even work with my newly purchased Jeffrey Campbell'swe shall see.

I promise I will be posting more photos of the outfits, coming up this weekend.
